L&T works with the best in the global green energy space to generate innovative solutions that are designed to meet the needs of a cleaner and greener future.
Our agreement with McPhy for electrolyser manufacturing is a long-term partnership to explore the opportunities unfolding in the emerging Green Hydrogen market.
Under this partnership, McPhy, a France-based leading electrolyser technology and manufacturing company, will grant an exclusive license of its pressurised alkaline electrolyser technology to L&T for manufacturing of electrolysers, including future product upgrades. L&T plans to set up a Gigawatt-scale manufacturing facility for electrolysers based on McPhy technology in India to serve the domestic requirements as well as cater to other selected geographies.
The proposed agreement reinforces L&T’s strategic vision to be present across the green energy value chain and also consolidates McPhy’s technological position and aim to expand beyond the European market.
L&T has formed the L&T Green Energy Council, a think-tank comprising of eminent global thought leaders, in a significant step towards building a global green energy business.
