With L&T's proven track record in PPP projects and commitment to clean technology, we are well-positioned to lead the development of global green energy projects. Our complementary capabilities in EPC enable us to design and develop plants on a build, own, and operate (BOO) basis.
For our domestic development business, we are focussing on catering to Indian demand for green hydrogen in refineries & fertiliser sectors. In the larger spectrum, we also plan to offer green hydrogen as an energy storage solution for data centres, in steel industry, in mobility through fuel cells as well as for marine applications.
To address the export market, we plan to develop a 1.8 million tonne per annum (MTPA) facility across six phases at Gujarat’s Kandla port and to replicate the same scale (1.8 MTPA) on the eastern side at Odisha’s Paradip port too. We leverage our strategically located Projects near major ports and hydrogen hubs, for the storage, handling, transfer, and export of green hydrogen and ammonia. This positions us as a leading export-oriented developer in the subcontinent.
